This Green Jay showed up completely out of the blue August 2, 1981,  over a thousand miles
from where he was normally found near Brownsville, Texas.  We theorized that he had been
captured in Mexico and brought to the U.S. ,where his caretakers probably released him
when they realized it was illegal to keep him (or her).  Photo # 08-03-1981 # 24A
