PRO BONO JOBS AND CHARITABLE WORK
Each year I do some deserving jobs for no fee (pro bono) or a
drastically reduced fee.  Some of these stretch over several
years, not only because I have to finance them with my other
jobs, but because of the frequent complex nature of them.
Here are some of the recent of the last ten years:
The Ojai Library Expansion at the current historic site:
Conceptual plans and refurbishing of the former VanDyke
Travel Agency building being bought by the Ojai Valley
Library Friends  and Foundation.
While the expansion plans are working their way through the
approval process, I oversaw the refurbishing of the Van
Dyke Building into the Library Used Book Store using both
my Architect's and General Building Contractor's License.

Last year I worked with Jim Perkins pro bono on supervising and
signing for his drawing and engineering work for the new Holy
Cross Lutheran Church Pre-School and Day-Care Center.

For several years now I have worked with Ojai Valley Wildlife
Rehabilitation, have taken the training to work with songbirds
and small mammals so that I can eventually help with those
skills.  In the meantime I am serving as Treasurer for the group
and for several years have grown mealworms in my house in
order to provide extra food for the birds being rehabilitated.

I am also working with the Ojai Retreat, a 501(3)c Non-Profit
Organization as a member of their Advisory Committee.
